HOW TO VOTE IN 2020

VOTE BY MAIL

In an effort to adhere to CDC and Florida Department of Health advisories, we are encouraging voters to vote by mail. To register to Vote-By-Mail, click here.

The Elections Department is taking all precautions to protect the health and safety of voters, poll workers, and employees amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. As always, voters will be able to vote in-person during Early Voting, August 3-16, 2020, at any of the 30 conveniently located Early Voting sites; or on Election Day, August 18, 2020, at a voter’s assigned precinct.

The Elections Department is encouraging voters to Vote by Mail (VBM) from the safety and comfort of their own home. On June 1, 2020, households where at least one registered voter does not have a VBM request on file will receive a mailer from the Elections Department. The VBM mailer will consist of a letter and a VBM request form in English, Spanish, and Creole. The letter will inform the voter that the VBM request form may be filled out online, by phone or by filling out and mailing back the enclosed VBM form in the pre-paid return envelope.
